Nearly twenty-five thousand residences in south-east Queensland woke up experiencing outages on Monday morning after powerful weather events impacted the state, bringing strong winds topping 109km/h.

Homeowners witnessed substantial frozen pellets as large as seven centimeters in certain regions. Meteorological experts announced that multiple regions across the state had been impacted by significant hail.

Utility workers were focused on reestablishing power throughout the impacted areas, with approximately seventy teams activated to address the widespread outages.
Victorian Climate Difficulties
Meanwhile, nearly 1,000 residents in Victoria also encountered electricity disruptions after the capital city recorded its heaviest rainfall in 18 months.
Emergency response teams responded to 598 requests for assistance across the area, primarily for property damage but also for collapsed vegetation and water accumulation.

At the height on Sunday, in excess of 28,000 electricity consumers in Victoria were lacking electricity.
Climate Outlook
Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this week as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
The following day was predicted as the most rainy day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential predicted across different parts of both regions.

Medical authorities alerted that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, specifically given the ongoing climate situation.
